Coach to Tanglewood
Summer Home of the Boston Symphony

Tanglewood Map 9:30AM Orleton Farm: Hospitality Tent opens for guests of the Coach Drive. The coaches will gather at Orleton Farm and leave at approximately 10:30 AM heading north along Prospect Hill Road past the Stockbridge Bowl and proceeding over Hawthorne Street, past Tanglewood on to Undermountain Road, along Cliffwood Street through the center of Lenox at approximately 11:50 AM. Passing through Shakespeare and Co on Kemble Street through to Hawthorne Road. Coaches will arrive at Tanglewood by the Hawthorne Road entrance arriving at the front gate Highwood Mansion at 12:15 PM John Richards, a renowned Coachman from England will be on hand to give commentary on the coaches upon their arrival and the coaches will be available for public viewing. In addition there will be a coach horn competition played by the numerous horn blowers who rode on the coaches. The horn is about three and one half to four feet long. They are played while the horn blower stands up on the coach and the coach is under way. The traditional tunes of the road will be played. The coachmen will have lunch and the public is invited to bring a picnic lunch as well. After lunch the coaches will return to Orleton Farm.

Come to the World
of Norman Rockwell

9:30 AM Orleton Farm: Hospitality Tent opens for guests of the Coach Drive. The coaches will gather at The Orleton Farm and leave at approximately 10:45 AM heading south on Prospect Hill Road 11:00 AM travel through the Village of Stockbridge over Vine Street to Main Street in the village of Stockbridge passing the Red Lion Inn and heading west to Church Street over Larrywaug Road then south on Rte. 183 and arrive at the Norman Rockwell Museum at approximately 12:15 PM John Richards will be on hand to give commentary on the coaches upon their arrival and the coaches will be presented for public viewing. After lunch the coaches return to Orleton Farm through the center of Stockbridge at 2:00 PM. Lunch will be available at the Cafe.

Have a Novel Time
at The Mount

9:30 AM Orleton Farm: Hospitality Tent opens for guests of the Coach Drive. The coaches will gather at The Orleton Farm and leave at approximately 10:45 AM heading north past Stockbridge Bowl and Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood, over Old Stockbridge Road to Kemble Street, then arriving at The Mount, Edith Wharton’s Estate and Gardens at 12:15 PM The coaches will be greeted with commentary by John Richards. All coaches will be presented for public viewing. Visitors may picnic in the Apple Orchard next to the coaches. After lunch the coaches will journey through Highlawn Farm on their return to Orleton Farm to conclude the weekend drive.
